Version support

Rapidez releases are sadly not immortal (even software eventually has to retire). We do our best to keep versions alive and healthy for as long as it makes sense. When a new version is released, the shiny new features naturally move there first. Older versions may occasionally receive a backport treat, but in general they settle into a quieter life of bug fixes until their active support date arrives. After that, they enter security-support-only mode before eventually riding off into the sunset.
